TICA Attended the IMEC Event at the Belgian Consulate
TICA presented its semiconductor vision at an imec event hosted by the Belgian Consulate, highlighting Turkey’s strong IC design capacity followed by productive networking with sector stakeholders.
On November 5, TICA had the pleasure of attending the imec event held at the Belgian Consulate. TICA Chairman Prof. Dr. Yusuf Leblebici delivered a presentation introducing our association and sharing insights on Turkey’s semiconductor ecosystem and vision.
He emphasized that as of today, TICA member companies represent a collective IC design experience in high-performance, low-power digital, analog, mixed-signal and RF IC design with 155 experienced full-time IC designers, 1.536 man-years of total (cumulative) design expertise, and 626 successful IC designs and tapeouts completed and delivered so far, in all technology (CMOS, SiGe, GaAs, GaN, SOI) nodes ranging from 350 nm to 4 nm. As such, TICA represents a significant IC design force that is capable of mobilizing an extremely capable IC design expertise, with large added-value in the highly competitive technology eco-system.
The event concluded with a productive networking session among key stakeholders of the sector. We sincerely thank the Belgian Consulate and the IMEC team for their kind hospitality.
